Doliguez.
Undefeated Filipino southpaw Jun ?Hercules? Doliguez seeks to redeem his reputation after a disappointing majority draw in his US debut against Ruben Tamayo in Yucatan, Mexico last July 20 when he faces Mexican veteran Giovanni Caro on the undercard of the Juan Manuel Marquez ? Timothy Bradley showdown at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sunday, Manila Time.

Doliguez? manager Elmer Anuran said Doliguez is determined to put on a good show after training for almost three months at the Wild Card Gym of Freddie Roach under Filipino trainer Benny De La Paz.

The 22 year old Doliguez has a record of 16-0-2 with 12 knockouts and won the vacant WBO Oriental featherweight title with a 5th round knockout of Ciso Morales, a former world title challenger who was knocked out by Fernando Montiel in the first round.

Caro nicknamed ?El Ruso? has a record of 24-13-4 with 19 knockouts and is coming off a 2nd round TKO by tough Hugo Ruiz last June 1 after being dropped twice in the same round.

Caro had also lost by a unanimous twelve round decision to former world champion Fernando Montiel in a clash for the WBC USNBC Silver title on November 24, 2012.

Anuran has high hopes for the hard-hitting Doliguez who is considered a potential future world champion and is under the Viva Sports Management Group.
