Filipino southpaw Renan Trongco is fit and ready and determined to go for the vacant WBC Intercontinental flyweight title against
China's Wang Xin Hua who is in Manila after training for one week in Baguio City under trainer Allan Alegria a former Philippine champion and Brico Santig.

The title fight will take place at the Elorde Ballroom along Sucat Road in Paranaque on September 7.

Trongco?s manager Gabriel ?Bebot? Elorde informed the Manila Standard that Trongco had "trained hard and is fit and ready and is determined to win the title, Wang Xin Hua beat Filipino Lionel Legada by a six round split decision last June 28 at the World Trade Center in Dubai on the undercard of Denver Cuello?s minimum weight title fight against Xiong Zhao Zhong.

The taller 28 year old Chinese fighter has a record of 10-6-1 with no knockouts while the hard-hitting 24 year old Trongco has a record of 13-4 with 8 knockouts.

Trongco dropped a unanimous twelve round decision in an IBO minimum weight title fight to champion Hekkie Budler in South Africa last February 16.

The southpaw also has a unanimous decision win over Legada.
