KO Boxing and Fan Base Promotions have offered a winner take all purse for Light Middleweights Janks Trotter (7-1-1) and Adam Trupish (11-1) to fight in Edmonton, Alberta Canada on Friday, September 13 at the Shaw Conference Center. Trotter agreed to the proposal immediately while Trupish has failed to respond, so far. Fan Base went a step further and contacted a member of Trupish's inner circle (personal match maker) who promised FBP, he would present the Edmonton resident with same deal, Trotter accepted.

Trupish and Trotter fought on January 13, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta before a SRO crowd who watched Trupish capture a NABF Light Weight Title Belt in a bout stopped by American Referee Wes Melton, 72 seconds into the first round. Trotter dominated the first 45 seconds and had the taller Trupish in obvious trouble, but the Native Born Albertan sealed his fate when he took a step back and dropped his hands. It was a Golden moment for Trupish who used the opening to deliver a wicked blow to the Temple region of Trotter's head. Janks tried to reach the ropes but his legs wouldn't cooperate. Adam was declared the winner via TKO and Trotter openly wept. He knew, a mistake had been made.

Adam has fought twice since defeating Trotter in 2012. He knocked out Daryl Cunningham on April 17, 2012 in the fifth round. The 34 year old Trupish returned to the ring on March 15, 2013 with an alleged promise of a world title shot if he could defeat light hitting American Dashon Johnson. The American stunned Canadian boxing fans and shocked Adam Trupish with a 7th round knockout victory.

Trotter has sought opponents since his lone defeat, but no one has been man enough to say yes. The money on the table should tempt Trupish, but the 29 year old Trotter thinks Adam is a worn out pugilist after the Johnson loss and doesn't want to fight any more. The Canadian boxing fan is asking for this match, but they wont beg. It's up to Adam "King" Trupish. Excerpted from: Arizona Boxing News & Notes With Don Smith, July 2013.
