Koki Kameda 118, John Mark Apolinario 118 for Today's WBA Clash in Tokyo

Both, Japanese WBA Bantamweight world champion Koki Kameda and Filipino Challenger John Mark Apolinario weighed-in at 118 lbs (53.50 kgs) for their world title clash today (July 23) in Tokyo, Japan.
The rumble will be Kameda's 7th title defense. The 26-year-old Japanese lefty is a 2-division world champion with a record of 30 wins, only 1 lost, 17 wins by KO.
As for the Apolinario, 23, the clash will be his third shot at a world title in less than 9 months. His two previous tries ended up in a draws in Argentina and Panama. The jovial Filipino born in Sarangani Province has a record of 17 wins, 2 loses, 3 draws, 4 wins by way of knockout.
The two boxers were friendly towards each other during the official weight-in ceremony at Hotel East 21 in Tokyo.
Both looked lean, in good shape and high spirits.
