Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire has flatly denied a story claiming that he is going to help Brandon ?Bam Bam? Rios in his preparation for a clash with eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao in Macau on November 24, Manila Time.

Donaire had earlier indicated in a conversation with boxingscene.com that he planned to start training at the Oxnard Gym under trainer Robert Garcia in instead of training at the Undisputed Gym in San Carlos City, California or in Las Vegas and have Garcia drive up once a week to see how he was doing.

The plan to train at Garcia?s gym meant he would be training alongside Rios as well as world featherweight champion and the trainer?s younger brother Mikey Garcia.

According to Rachel Donaire the story about training alongside Rios was initially posted on the ABS-CBN website and Donaire himself requested the ABS-CBN news desk ?to please delete and retract the story about helping Brandon Rios? adding that ?it is misleading.?

In order to remove all insinuations or allegations that he is assisting with the training of Rios, Donaire said ?I will help by staying out of the way of Brandon?s training? but appeared upset that ?it's completely not what is being portrayed.?

Garcia was quoted as saying Donaire would not spar with Rios because "he is too small and Brandon is too big for Donaire plus Donairee is not a lefty so it will be difficult."

But Garcia indicated that Donaire would help by giving Rios advice.
