Once again ?Pinoy Pride XXI? delivered great ratings as a follow up to its previous episodes over ABS-CBN Channel 2.

The WBO minimum weight first title defense of Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo who scored a crushing 9th round knockout of Colombia?s No. 6 world-ranked Jorlie Estrada at the plush Solaire Resort and Casino rated 18.2 percent.

The WBO Asia Pacific super flyweight championship in which unbeaten ?King? Arthur Villanueva won by a 4th round TKO over Mexico?s KO artist Arturo Badillo turned in a rating of 15.3 percent while AJ ?Bazooka? Banal?s comeback 2nd round TKO over another Mexican, Abraham Gomez registered a rating of 12.5 percent.

The impressive victories by the ALA Gym fighters against worthy opponents sparked a renewed interest in promising young fighters and future world champions with the supporting card also showcasing rising stars ?Prince? Albert Pagara, Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo and former Asian Gmes bronze medalist Vic ?Vicious? Saludar.

The wholehearted support shown for ?Pinoy Pride XXI? by ABS-CBN?s top honcho Gabby Lopez and president Charo Santos-Concio as well as vice president for sports Peter Musngi and the presence of a galaxy of the networks biggest stars added glitz and glamour to an already classy presentation at the breathtaking Solaire Resort and Casino and showed the way for future fight cards in the ?Entertainment City? of the Philippines overlooking picturesque Manila Bay.
