Youthful manager Elmer Anuran who is engaged in a tug-of-war with boxer Drian Francisco who has a big fight today against Carlos Avalos on ESPN Friday Night Fights, has flatly denied a claim by Francisco?s trainer, former heavyweight contender Justin Fortune, that Francisco received only $2,000 out of a $10,000 purse for his fight against Javier Gallo last November 17 at the LA Sports Arena in California.

In a text message to this writer following the publication of Fortune?s statement, Anuran said ?it was a very sensitive comment. Of all things it was about money.?

He revealed that his promotional outfit Saved by the Bell is waiting for the result of Francisco?s fight today and that he ?didn?t want to talk further about Fortune?s statement but would leave it up to our lawyers.?

He added, ?God knows that I didn?t get my share on his last fight. Instead I offered it to be an X?mas gift for his (Drian?s) family since his wife was pregnant at that time. Fortune?s accusation is subject to legal course of action since Drian has an original managerial and promotional contract with us.?

Anuran claimed ?you know me, that?s impossible. That?s b?l s?t!? and even claimed he never received any of our calls or text messages which are clearly listed, when we were seeking his response.

We even went to the extent of contacting Anuran?s journalist friend Dennis Eroa over our inability to receive a response from Anuran.
