PANAMA CITY, Panama - Two Filipinos fighting in important world title combats in the same card is an exciting thing that doesn?t happen that often. Yet, it will happen this Saturday night in the Latin American nation of Panama (Sunday Morning in the Philippines), when reigning IBF Jr. Flyweight World Champion Johnriel Casimero of Leyte and bantamweight world title challenger John Mark Apolinario (17-2-2, 4 KO's) of Sarangani face tough Panamanian fighters in world title matches at the luxurious convention center of the 5-star Hard Rock Hotel Panama. Filipino co-promoter credited to making it all happen talks exclusively for our Philboxing readers.

Roberto "La Ara?a" Vasquez vs John Mark Apolinario II for the WBA interim bantamweight world title:
Referee Luis Pabon of Puerto Rico. Judge: Levi Martinez of New Mexico, Carla Caiz of California, and Nelson Vazquez of Puerto Rico. Supervisor: Francisco "Hill" Pi?a of Colombia

WEIGHT-IN & BROADCAST

The official weight-in ceremony will take place tomorrow and Philboxing will be in attendance to report and photograph the important event. Stay tuned.
