Toronto, CANADA ? Hennessy Sports Canada held an open media workout at the historic Sully?s Boxing Gym in the heart of Toronto today that showcased 3 Canadian Boxers who will be fighting on February 8 at The Montreal Bell Centre.

This fight card is another installation of The Fast and the Furious boxing series Promoted by GYM Groupe Yvon Michel which will be televised on an upcoming broadcast of ESPN Friday Night Fights.

Undefeated rising Canadian featherweight prospect Tyler Asselstine (12W-0L,7KO) who fights under the Hennessy Sports Canada stable, worked coach Chris Johnson?s mitts in front of the media in attendance. Asselstine and Coach Johnson did an impressive workout routine in the ring and had the opportunity to talk various media outlets regarding their upcoming fight in Montreal.

Southpaw Tyler Asselstine from Kingston, Ontario is scheduled to fight the orthodox Joel Diaz (11W-0L,10KO) from Palmdale, California over 10 rounds. ESPN Friday Night Fights will broadcast this fight as a co-feature along with a 12 rounder featuring Quebec?s Kevin Bizier (19W-0L, 13KO) vs Florida?s Nate Campbell (36W-9L, 26KO).

Asselstine and Diaz are eager to make a presence at the world level since turning pro in 2010. They have combined 23 fights between the two of them with no losses. Joel Diaz has boxed 29 rounds since turning pro and has an impressive 90 percent knockout rate. Tyler Asselstine has 20 more rounds of boxing under his belt with 49 rounds since turning pro with a decent 58 percent knockout rate. This fight will be a very interesting match-up for ESPN Friday Night Fights with Asselstine, who is an awkward hitting southpaw, against Diaz who is a slugger with an orthodox stance.

Filipino Canadian ?Sumisikat Na Anak? The Rising Son Marc ?Gwapo? Pagcaliwangan was introduced to the Toronto media in attendance for the first time with Hennessy Sports Canada?s All Filipino Boxing Team. Newly acquired Mitts coach Glen Erjas worked with Pagcaliwangan over several rounds under the supervision of head coach Socrates Celestial. Pagcaliwangan executed blazing hand speed that landed with impressive power on Coach Erjas? mitts and body armour that echoed throughout Sully?s boxing gym.

Featherweight Marc ?Gwapo? Pagcaliwangan (2W-0L, 2KO) who is sponsored by Lonsdale of London and Hard Work Dedication Clothing is scheduled to fight Hungarian knockout specialist Laszlo ?Crazy Boy? Fekete (6W-0L, 5KO) over four rounds. Southpaw Fekete is a much more experienced boxer who can stop a fight with one punch. This is Fekete?s debut outside of Europe.

According to Marc Pagcaliwangan?s Manger, Mark Erwin from WINSports Management, ESPN Friday Night Fights has the Pagacaliwangan vs Fekete fight scheduled as a swing bout for February 8. During a broadcast interview with The Fight Network, Pagcaliwangan stated that he would like to fight in the Philippines as early as this year.
