The second boxing event that CANELO PROMOTIONS will present in Mexican soil will be headlined by the sensational Andres "Jaguar" Gutierrez and the very strong Yazm?n "Rusita" Rivas, on Saturday, February 2.

"Jaguar" and "Rusita" are currently training in hometowns Durango and Queretaro, respectively.

"This is an important event that brings together two of the best fighters that we promote, in addition to "Ranita" Gonzalez and "Cobra Maas", said Eddy Reynoso, director of Canelo Promotions.

Both Andres Gutierrez, who is the current Fecarbox WBC featherweight champion, and Yazmin Rivas, the IBF bantamweight world champion, will soon know the name of their challengers.

"We started to negotiate with the governments of Quer?taro and Durango and the possibility to present this attractive feature on February 2," said Reynoso.

In his recent fights, Gutierrez (24-0-1, 20 KOs) demolished Hugo Berrio of from Venezuela, in a fight that only went four rounds, to established himself as a true contender.

Yazmin Rivas (26-7, 9 KOs) also stopped the dangerous Venezuelan Mayerlin Rivas, in her third world title defense of IBF title. (CANELO PROMOTIONS)
