WBA Designates Officials for New Year's Eve World Title Fights in Japan; Filipino Silvestre Abainza Gets Assignment

The WBA Championships Committee led by the organization's Execute Vice President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza has appointed the officials to the four WBA World Championship fights that will take place during New Year's Eve in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka in Japan.

Super Champion Takashi Uchiyama (Japan) vs Interim Champion Bryan V?zquez (Costa Rica)

Unification of WBA Super Featherweight (130 Lbs) World Title - Both undefeated champions

Watanabe Promotions in Tokyo, Japan

Referee: Raul Caiz Jr. (US-CA)

Judges: Stanley Christodoulou (South Africa), Carlos Sucre (Venezuela) and Silvestre Abainza (Philippines)
