IBF Flyweight World Champion Moruti Mthalane (right) of South Africa and Panamanian mandatory challenger Ricardo "El Matem?tico" N??ez weighed-in 112 lbs (50.80 kgs) ahead of their world title fight tomorrow at the Roberto Dur?n Arena in Panama City, Panama.

Both fighters appeared focused and in good shape, easily making their weights in their first try.

In accordance to IBF rules, a second weigh-in will be conducted tomorrow at 8am (Panama time) at the clinic of the Comibox in Pandeportes, a procedure in which fighters are not allowed to exceed 122 lbs.

The Mthalane-N??ez title fight is being supervised by Daryl J. Peoples, President of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), and an all-American panel of judges will be in charge of the scorecards.

Should the fight reach 12 round limit, judges John Madfis of Massachusetts, Gary Merritt of Indiana and John Poturaj of New Jersey will decide the winner. The referee will be Kenny Chevalier of Maryland.

The battle will mark Moruti "Baby Face" Mthalane's (28-2, 19KO's) fourth world title defense, while for challenger Ricardo N??ez (24-2, 20KO's), tomorrow's action will be in his first shot at a world title.

N??ez is five years younger than Mthalane and appears to have more height and reach than the more accomplished action-packed South African world champ.

The card billed as "Desafio Final" (Final Challenge) is a production of Panama's top boxing promotion company Promociones y Eventos del Istmo and will be televised live on Panama's sports channel TV Max.
