MANILA, PHILIPPINES ( Via PCSO ) Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao got a surprise visit from his namesake, beauty doctor to the stars Manny Calayan, in his training at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles.

Dr. Calayan is in the USA with Dra. Pie Calayan for the celebration of her birthday as well as Mothers? Day. Dra. Pie resides in Los Angeles where she is the administrator of Calayan Aesthetics.

Doc Manny, a born again Christian, invited the eight-division world champion to attend a Bible study at his residence, an invitation that the boxer accepted and attended.

Three months after his fight against Marquez, the Pambansang Kamao declared he has been saved as a born again Christian when his brother-in-law?s wife introduced him to Bro. Jeric Soriano in their Sta. Rosa house. He claims the spirit of the Lord changed him. He now attends Bible studies and worship services at the Alabang New Life Christian Center. People around him have apparently noticed changes in his behavior. Even in his training in Baguio City and in LA, Pacquiao?s schedule include daily Bible preaching activities.

?Manny is really a changed man, hindi ito PR ha (this is not for PR),? said Dr. Calayan, the pioneer of Smartlipo and Vaserlipo in the Philippines, two revolutionary fat removal procedures that are safe alternatives to traditional liposuction.

After the Bible study, it was MP?s turn to invite Doc Manny to his much-awaited fight against undefeated American Timothy Bradley on June 9 in Las Vegas. The People?s Champ gave the world-class cosmetic surgeon tickets for his family.

?This is my second time to watch, so we?re all excited. We?ll be there as early as we can,? said Doc Manny.

The Calayans are longtime friends of the Pacquiaos. Jinkee endorsed Calayan before. #
