Clash of the Undefeated: Mabait vs. Demecillo-Singwangcha is a Must See Event

They have once crossed paths, fought, and ended in a draw. They went separate paths, each fighting his way up to greatness. Both remained victorious in each battle fought, kept his record clean and kept on climbing to the top rankings. Now their roads reach an intersection point where somebody's "O" has to go. Who will prevail and remain unconquered?

Marvin Mabait once fought Marco Demecillo-Singwangcha as a four rounder rookie way back in 2009. He dropped Marco once but the brave warrior got up, fought back and managed to pull off a well deserved draw. Mabait recently grabbed the national belt from Rey Perez last February and now, Marco is back to challenge him for his belt. Both undefeated and skilled fighters, Mabait vs. Demecillo-Singwangcha will be a must see fight for boxing fans.

As a fan of the science myself, I always believe that Filipinos should fight fellow Filipinos just as much as Mexicans find it normal to fight a fellow Mexican. I have always dreamed of seeing Milan Melindo face Brian Viloria or Boom-Boom Bautista fighting Michael Farenas or Abe Concepcion. But for certain reasons, those fights cannot happen soon despite of clamor from boxing fans.

It is therefore a commendable act for Wakee Salud and Naris Singwangcha who handle Marco and for Congressman Erbie Fabian who manages Marvin to take the risk and give boxing fans a delectable treat such as this. With the fight ready to be served, boxing fans in Cebu an all over the country should not miss the chance of seeing this great event.

The event which is entitled "Kadaugan sa Mactan" will be held at the Mactan Shrine Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 3PM. The fight is presented by Rex Wakee Salud and Naris Promotions in cooperation with GMA7.
