On Saturday night, the country's premier boxing promotions company will once again stage eight thrilling boxing match-ups that will keep boxing fans at the edge of their seats. Pinoy Pride XIII: Road to Glory will feature our country's upcoming prospects as they take further steps towards world title shots.

In the main event, AJ ?Bazooka? Banal will prove his worth against Mexican warrior Raul Hidalgo. Banal will be assessed if he is indeed ready for a crack at the world title this year. Rocky ?The Road Warrior? Fuentes will also face another tough battle as he squares off with another tough Mexican in Javier Franco. Fuentes is highly ranked by boxing bodies and is another candidate for a world title match this year.

Undefeated rookie ?Prince? Albert Pagara will take on Thai fighter Phupha Por Nobnom. Pagara is the younger brother of Jason who also a prized ward of ALA Stable. In another featured bout, undefeated Bantam pug Arthur ?El Matador? Villanueva will face tough and seasoned Rey Megrino. This will be a real test for the native of Bacolod City who is known for his excellent ring generalship and intelligence combined with knockout power on both fists. Villanueva together with OPBF Minimumweight Champ Merlito Sabillo are products of Bacolod's Henry Guanzon stable but are now mainstays of ALA Stable.

In the undercard bouts, Roma Rate will face Jade Yagahon in a 108 lbs match. Arjan Canillas will fight Ranie Pamatian in a featherweight battle. Cebu's ring sensation Jojo ?Flash? Intor will trade leathers with Alejandro Marapao. Intor is famous among Cebuano boxing fans for his comical ring antics. Lastly, the curtain raiser will be a 4 rounder bout between Crispin Parba versus Rowell Condolon.

The event will be held at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Lahug, Cebu City at 6:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2012. The fight will be aired via ALA's media partner ABS-CBN on the following day Sunday at 10:30 AM.
