Iloilo?s very own Denver ?The Excitement? Cuello-Singwangcha will fight before his provincemates against tough Indonesian opponent Kid ?El Chivato? Suryana at the Jaro Plaza Gym in Jaro, Iloilo City. The event will start at 1:00 PM.

The fight maybe regarded as a tune-up fight but Cuello is not looking past Suryana as the brave Indonesian vowed to knock-out the Ilongo Champ within six rounds. A win for Cuello will take him to a bigger fight against Ganigan Lopez with the winner of said fight getting the crack at the regular WBC Strawweight Belt held by Japan?s Kazuto Ioka.

Two other Ilongo boxers will also be featured in the card. Lionel Legada-Singwangcha of Labunao, Iloilo will face Roger Echavez of Butuan City. San Miguel Iloilo?s Jomar Fajardo-Singwangcha will trade leathers with Jonathan Ricablanca of Surigao City.

Other interesting match ups to be feature are Jetli Purisima versus Nelson Llanos, Gabriel Pumar-Singwangcha versus Adilou Adajar, Rex Tito-Sinwangcha versus Anthony Galigao, Rodel Baquiano versus Lyndel Radoc and Ronel Omosora versus Richard Rosales.

Iloilo is teeming with a lot of die hard boxing fans but few quality fights have been staged in the province. This time, it was Denver Cuello who requested that his next fight be staged in his hometown. With the request granted, the people of Iloilo will be treated to see their own hero fight in his beloved hometown.

The fight was made possible by Jaro Promotions International through Cuello?s Promoter and Manager Aljoe Jaro who also manages newly crowned WBC and Ring Magazine Flyweight Champ Sonny Boy Jaro. The event is also presented to us by GMA7. This fight card is also made possible with the support of the City Government of Iloilo thru Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog. Other town mayors of the province of Iloilo has also pledged their support to this fight card. The fight will be aired via GMA News TV one week later.
