GOLEZ GETS IN THE WAY TO SOSA'S 2ND TITLE RUN (PHOTOS)

WBC emeritus champion and former flyweight world champion, Edgar Sosa, begins a new stage in his career and officially announced his business relationship with Producciones Deportivas, a company headed by Ricardo Maldonado Jr., and RB Produciones of Eric Reider, respectively, and aimed to project Sosa to another world championship.

This Saturday at Foro Polanco in Ciudad de Mexico, Edgar Sosa will face Filipino Roilo Golez to defend his flyweight international WBC title in the Boxing card called "Welcome Champion."

In the same card, explosive fighter Ramon "Ni?o de Oro" Ayala, will seek revenge over Nicaraguan Carlos Velazquez in a 10 rounds battle in the lightweight division.

At a press conference held today at Torre Mayor de Ciudad de Mexico, Sosa gave details of his match against Golez.

Edgar Sosa was accompanied during the presscon by Maldonado and Reider.

Also in attendance were fighters Roilo Golez and Ramon Ayala.

Weight-in will be Friday and Saturday night will take place the combat.

Roilo Golez of Compostela Valley in Mindanao is accompanied in Mexico by active Pinoy matchmaker and cornerman Brico Santig, head of Highland Boxing Promotions of Baguio.
