Canelo Alvarez:

"Thank you very much to all the media for showing up. I also want to thank the WBC and I want to say that I am excited to fight one more time in Mexico City, and what a better way to close this year than fighting a great champion in Cintron, like Sulaiman said this will be the toughest fight of my life and I am ready to go."

Kermit Cintron:

"I don't want to talk to much about this. I rather do my talking in the ring. I am preparing myself like never before. Many people think that I am done, I read that in the Internet, but this is a chance to prove that I can still be a world champion. I want to thank Saul Alvarez for the opportunity."

Eddy Reynoso, - trainer and manager of WBC Super Welterweight Champion Canelo Alvarez:

"It will be more than a tough fight, this guy Cintron has beaten many champions and you can't count him out, Canelo will win but Kermit has the experience and has defeated Angulo, who everyone talks about right now, we wanted to go after the guy who defeated him. Cintron also fought Margarito, Paul Williams and Martinez, so this is a new learning experience for us."

The bout will be promoted by CANELO PROMOTIONS, GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS, FRJ PRODUCCIONES and GRUPO MODELO and it will be for Saul's 154 pound title belt on November 26 at EXPO BANCOMER SANTA FE, that arena will be set for 25,000 seats.
