MANILA -- A record breaking event in the history of boxing happens this October 29, 2011 at the city coliseum of Puerto Princesa , as Mayor Edward Hagedorn hosts the 7 WBC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FIGHTS boxing event in parallel to his drive for the Puerto Princesa underground river to be included in the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
The underground river of Puerto Princesa has been declared as one of the Official Finalist to the New 7 Wonders of Nature. It is a source of pride and a key element in the identity of the people of Puerto Princesa in particular, and the Filipino people as a whole. No less than his Excellency, President Noynoy Aquino is calling into action all sectors and all people to support the campaign in his speech during his recent visit in the city. The fights will be shown on ABS-CBN Studio23 prime time, Nov. 5 at 9:00 to 9:00pm and Nov. 6 at 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
