Both WBC Minimumweight International Champion Denver Cuello-Singwangcha and Mexico?s Patricio Camacho weighed in at 109 pounds for their scheduled bout tomorrow, September 24 in Mexico and the US. The fight is a 10 round non-title bout to be staged at Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
The port of Cozumel is a frequent docking area for international ships with numerous Filipino Seamen. Cozumel has a Filipino Restaurant named Mabuhay Resto which caters to said Pinoy sea farers. This restaurant was a big help in the diet of Denver by providing him with his favourite dishes (pinakbet and nilagang baka) before every fight. According to promoter Aljoe Jaro, many Pinoy Seamen have arrived to Cozumel in time for the Cuello fight. They posed for pictures and vowed that will watch the fight tomorrow in support for the countryman Denver.
