Denver Cuello-Singwangcha is in the beautiful city of Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico as he gears up for his battle against local boy Patricio Camacho on September 24. Manager Aljoe Jaro described the place as paradise comparable to Hawaii where the beaches are scenic. ?Canelo Promotions have taken good care of us. The accommodation has been excellent. It?s a beautiful resort. There is even a Filipino restaurant here where we get our food. Denver is in his best shape and there is no doubt that he will win this via easy knockout. He currently weighs in at 110 lbs and will be ready for the weigh-in tomorrow.?

Denver has also expressed his confidence in his upcoming fight. ?I saw Patricio Camacho and there is not much size difference between us. I am sure I?m the stronger fighter. I will knock him out and I will protect myself not to get hit because an easy and safe win would guarantee my next fight against Oscar Perez in October for the WBC Silver Minimumweight Title. I am further motivated because a win over Perez would mean a possible crack at a world title against Gannigan Lopez on December in the undercard of Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez?s title defense. I am only doing light training and conditioning for my fight on Sunday.?

Aljoe Jaro revealed that Canelo Promotions intends to make Denver the next big star in the lower weight divisions. In a meeting with CEO Eddy Renoso and International Matchmaker Hector Zapari, a line-up of possible fights and plans for Denver were presented which will ensure him of a brighter boxing career. In closing Denver wishes to ask the support and prayers of his countrymen and boxing fans to support the fight and to pray for his victory this Sunday.
