Dodie Boy Pe?alosa Jr. will carry on his professional journey as he fights Lanao del Norte?s Donriel Marcos. Being an experienced boxer of 23 fights, Marcos will be another good test for the young Pe?alosa.

The co-featured bout will be the GAB Philippine Featherweight Championship between Michael Farenas and defending champion Edgar Gabejan. Gabejan is fresh from his victory over Vin-Vin Rufino while Farenas latest win was against Mexican warrior Fernando Beltran Jr. during the undercard of the Viloria- Miranda fight in Hawaii.

Another featured bout is the match between come-backing Eden Sonsona who fill be facing Godwin Tubigon of Dapitan. Sonsona made an impressive comeback victory against Eman Labanza last month and is working hard to place himself back on the rankings.

The special attraction will be the professional debut of former National Amateur Boxing Gold Medalist Dave Pe?alosa. Dave is the younger brother of Dodie Boy Jr., son of former boxing champion Dodie Boy Sr. and nephew of boxing wizard Gerry ?Fearless? Pe?alosa. He is given the monicker ?Kamikaze? because of his aggressive fighting style and courage comparable to the historic Japanese suicide bombers during the Second World War. Dave will slug it out with the slick and technical John Edu Torbiso who made an impression during the Buhay Boksingero reality series of GMA7.

Five other bouts will entertain the crowd at the Lapu-lapu Hoops Dome on October 1, 2011 at 6PM. This event is being brought to us by Gerry Pens Promotions and GMA7 in cooperation with Family Rubbing Alcohol and the City Government of Lapu-Lapu City headed by their dynamic Mayor Paz Radaza.
