International Boxing Promoter Aljoe Jaro predicts a knock out victory for his stable boxer Denver Cuello as he faces former world champion Mohamad Rachman of Indonesia on September 25 in Iligan City. According to Jaro, Cuello is very hungry to make a statement that he is ready to face any title holder at 105 and 108 Lbs.

Denver has done 136 rounds of sparring. They have culminated their training camp and Cuello is only doing shadow boxing, ropes, mitts and speed ball. Jaro further told this writer that Cuello currently weighs at 110 pounds but he will not have any problem going down to 105 come weigh in day.

Asked about their game plan in breaking down Rachman, Jaro simply said that Denver is ready to brawl and box. He can fight either from the distance or go toe to toe with the veteran Rachman. Cuello himself expressed his confidence but emphasized that he is not taking Rachman lightly. ?He is a seasoned veteran and I cannot afford to be careless, mahirap na, baka maging baliktad and resulta ng laban at mapahiya tayo. Gusto ko lang manalo sa laban na ito pero challenge sa akin ang I knock out si Rachman dahil ako ang magiging unang boxer na makakapagpatumba sa kanya?, Cuello told this writer.

Rachman will arrive in Manila today and they will proceed to Iligan together with Cuello tomorrow. The fight will be held at the MSU IT Gym in Iligan City and will be aired via GMA at 10:00 AM on Sunday September 26. This fight is brought to us by Jaro International Boxing Promotions in cooperation with the city government of Iligan through its dynamic Mayor Lawrence Cruz and with the support of the Municipality of Maigo through Mayor Rafael Risalda. Also attending the event will be Thai International Promoter Naris Singwangcha.
