Bacolod City - It was a festive Saturday evening at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol grounds as ALA Promotions in association with Summit Drinking Water presented the Bacolod leg of ?Fight Night Boxing Tour?.

In the main event, RP Rated No. 2 Super Flyweight Along Denoy of ALA Gym finished a swift victory over RP Rated No. 11 Rosil Alim of the Adriano Stable in Davao City by scoring a knock out in the second round of the match. Denoy threw a solid left hook liver punch which sent Alim to the canvas for good.

In the supporting bout, Featherweight Leonard ?Osoy? Guardiano of Bacolod?s Guanzon Stable defeated Pinoy Mante of Tagbilaran, Bohol via a ten round unanimous decision. Guardiano appeared stronger and faster throughout the fight but iron chinned Mante refused to go down despite the barrage of power punches coming from his opponent.

In the Bantamweight undercard, Bacolod Native Genesis Servania of ALA Gym won via eight round unanimous decision over Jog Alim of Davao City. Servania dominated the first six rounds which gave him the win.

The most exciting fight of the night was between super flyweights Roy-Roy Sumugat of the Guanzon Stable versus Melchar Valiente of Lanao Del Norte. Sumugat scored a knock down in the first round but Valiente got up and survived. Both warriors traded power punches which had both of them cut and bloodied in the third round. The constant clash of heads aggravated the cuts of both fighters since Sumugat was a southpaw while Valiente had an orthodox stance. The bloody brawl went the distance but Sumugat was just too strong and sharp and emerged victorious by unanimous decision at the end of six rounds.
In the four round flyweight undercard, Mike Espanosa of Guanzon Stable knocked out Pablo Rey Seneres of Iloilo?s Tinagan Stable in the third round.

Mini Flyweight Tongkie Balalitan of Bacolod?s Mega Boxing Gym scored a unanimous decision win over Nobette Lencioco of Iloilo City.

In the first professional bout of the evening, Junior Featherweight Jerry Nardo of Bacolod?s Guanzon Stable defeated Francis Solis of Iloilo City by unanimous decision after four rounds. It was only Nardo?s second fight thus improving his record to W2 L0 KO1.

The event was graced by one of the finest boxers Bacolod has ever produced, ?Mighty? Mark Jason Melligen who recently arrived from Las Vegas fresh from his win over Norberto Gonzales. Melligen was also in the corner of the ALA Boxers who fought in the event.
