Honolulu, HI -- A press conference for the 'Island Assault' boxing event this Saturday was held this afternoon at Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber along the world famous Waikiki Beach here with returning hometown hero Brian Viloria, who headlines the card, promises to keep the belt safely in the islands and keep it for a long time.

Visiting Mexican challenger Jesus Iribe, thru his manager Alejandro Brito, says "we respect the champion but we are going home with the title."

In response, Viloria who commandered a searing comeback in the last year to capture his second world title at the expense of highly touted Ulises Solis of Mexico, thanked Team Iribe for coming to Hawaii and 'going to the lion's den' and tells Iribe, "let's make a it a good and entertaining fight. But I promise you that the title will stay here and I intend to keep the it for a long time."

Meanwhile, AJ Banal and Dennis Laurente, the two other Filipinos in the card, are within striking distance for their targeted weight for tomorrow's weighin to be held at the fight venue at Blaisdell Arena.
