Legendary Mexican boxer and former world welterweight champion of the world Pipino Cuevas said to Philboxing.com in a exclusive interview that what the Mexican media have been saying for the last few days is false, that he does not support Manny Pacquiao. "I came here to support Oscar, he invited me and i am happy to be here and if i was supporting Pacquiao as the Mexican media says, "I would not come here from Mexico."

He also said the following about his personal life:

"I am dedicated to my personal bussiness and I also train my son who is going to make his profesional debut in boxing. He is a heavyweight and if you think that I punched hard my son punches 10 times harder than me and he destroys 3 speed bags every day. Sometimes we need two heavy bags for training because he just destroys everything. We only had one fighter as a heavyweight and that was Pulgarcito Ramos and he lost to Joe Frazier, my son is a super fighter you will see in the near future, and also he went to college and the university so, he is well prepared.

About Roberto Duran:

"He won the fight i have no excuses. I prepared myself very well for that fight and in Mexico the media started saying that i wasn't training properly. That is a lie. Roberto is a great fighter nd he beat me."

About Tommy Hearns:

"Well the only thing that I can say is that he was a tremedous champion of the world and i lost my championship to him. I have the greatest respect for him."

About M?xico vs. Puerto rico:

"Fighters from Puerto Rico have lots of heart, they are great fighters, i won my championship against Espadas and the beat him another 2 times, but he gave me great fights."

About Manny Pacquiao:

"He is an exciting fighter, extremely fast, a good southpaw fighter, and i like his style, but this time I will support Oscar and my heart is with Mexico."
