Deaño settles to a draw

FEATHERWEIGHT Alfred “Destroyer” Deaño of Davao City settled to a draw with Jirapan “Chilaphan Cawhayong” Nakornluan of Thailand in their fight for the Asian Boxing Federation [ABF] super featherweight title last night, June 27 at the World Siam Stadium.
“It’s a draw,” said 35-year-old Deaño [13-1-3, 10KOs].
"Sadly we failed to get the belt. At least we showed the best fight we can," said Deaño.
Deaño was with his wife Jessebelle “Jazzy Jezzy” Pagaduan and trainer Rene Toto Bañarez.
Nakornluang tasted his first draw against 14 wins and one loss.
It was promoted by Brico Santig of Highland Boxing.
