Yanon fights Kaji in Tokyo on July 4

ABUBAKAR “The Bomb” Yanon of General Santos City will fight in Japan against Hayate Kaji on July 4 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Abubakar [8-2-0, 7KOs] recently lost to Perlito Exclamada Jr. of Negros Occidental by a unanimous decision last March 25 at the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.

Abubakar earlier won by a knockout in the 1st round against Venjie Patac of Dinagat Islands last December 21, 2025 in Davao City.

He also beat Christian Dave Puing [1st knockout] and Ariston Aton [unanimous decision] last year.

Kaji [16-2-0, 7KOs], on the other hand, won by a technical knockout over Masato Shinoda in the 7th round last December 7 in Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Yamato Hata of Tokyo will defend his Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super featherweight title against Tsubasa Narai of Osaka in the main event.

The 29-year-old Hata [18-2-1, 17KOs] last defended his crown against Tae Sun Kim by stopping him last March 7 by a technical knockout in the 5th round in Tokyo.

In his last title defense, Narai, 26 [18-2-0, 12KOs] kept his Japan Boxing Commission Japanese super featherweight crown via a unanimous decision against Ryusuke Sunagawa last March 24 in Tokyo.
