NM Faeldonia remained undefeated after 7 rounds with 6 wins and 1 draw against his younger brother, Arena International Master Jerick Faeldonia, who also scored 6.5 points but placed 2nd on tiebreaks. This marks NM Faeldonia’s 2nd championship crown this month after winning the 2026 Odiongan Fiesta Open Chess Tournament in Odiongan, Romblon.
