Legends Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes and Francisco ‘Django’ Bustamante headline the field as the full draw is confirmed for the inaugural 2025 LiveSB.io Philippines Open Pool Championship, taking place at Gateway Mall, Quezon City, Manila from 21–25 October 2025.

In partnership with Puyat Sports, the newest Matchroom Major on the World Nineball Tour will showcase 128 of the world’s elite cueists battling it out in a brutal single-elimination format for a $125,000 prize fund, with the event broadcast live on One Sport in the Philippines and WNT TV globally — and further international broadcast partners to be announced soon.

Returning to the international stage once again, Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes shared his excitement ahead of the tournament: “It’s always special to play here in the Philippines. The fans, the energy, the love for pool — it’s like nowhere else in the world. I’m proud to be part of an event that celebrates our country’s passion for the game.”

His longtime teammate and fellow legend Francisco ‘Django’ Bustamante added: “Leading Team Asia to victory at the Reyes Cup last week was an incredible feeling — and now to play here at home in the Philippines Open makes it even more special. There’s nothing like competing in front of our own fans and showing the world how strong Filipino pool really is.”
