“Night of Champions” Returns to Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando on September 19

Kevin Brown vs. Juan Meza Angulo for the Super Lightweight WBA Continental North American Title

ORLANDO, FL (September 10, 2025) — Boxing returns to Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, as Boxlab Promotions presents the next edition of his highly popular “Night of Champions” series on Friday, September 19, 2025. This show will be stacked from top to bottom with undefeated prospects, rising contenders, and returning stars.

Headlining will be an explosive 10-round super lightweight main event featuring Kevin Brown (7-0, 3 KOs) of Las Vegas, NV by way of Camagüey, Cuba, defending his WBA Continental North American title against Mexican warrior Juan Meza Angulo (9-2, 6 KOs), from Ensenada, MX. The event will stream live on BXNGTV, and tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.

In the 8-round co-main event, former heavyweight world title challenger Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (34-3, 29 KOs) will make his long-awaited return to the ring against Phillip Penson (8-4-3, 2 KOs), from Orlando, FL. Fans can expect fireworks as Ortiz looks to make one final run at championship glory.

Brown, a slick, Cuban standout with elite pedigree, has impressed fans and analysts alike with his poise, ring IQ, and skill set. A win on September 19 could catapult him into world title conversations.

“This is one of the most stacked cards we’ve ever put together,” said Amaury Piedra, President of Boxlab Promotions. “From the top of the main card to the young guns on the undercard, fans are going to get a full night of action. Kevin Brown is one of the most technically gifted young fighters in boxing today, and we’re thrilled to have him in a real step-up fight against a dangerous opponent like Angulo. The undercard will also showcase a lineup of talented, undefeated prospects, with their opponents to be announced in the coming weeks.
