WBC titlist Melvin Jerusalem and IBF champion Pedro Taduran maintained their 1-2 rankings at minimumweight in the latest Ring Magazine's all weights rating.
Just above the two is unified WBA and WBO and current Ring Magazine recognised lineal world champion Oscar Collazo of Puerto Rico. There are talks for Collazo to meet either of Taduran or Jerusalem for unification later this year.
At number three is former long time WBA titlist Knockout CP Freshmart of Thailand whom Collazo defeated for the Ring and WBA titles.
Former IBF champion Ginjiro Shigeoka has been dropped from the ranking with his forced retirement following brain damage suffered in his two bouts against Taduran.
His brother Yudai is rated #4 despite two losses to Jerusalem for the WBC crown.
Two other Filipinos are in the rating, namely Joey Canoy who keeps his #9 position and Vic Saludar who entered again at #10.
Meanwhile newly-minted OPBF champion Kenneth Llover entered the bantamweight ranking at #9 behind seven Japanese fighters led by now unified WBC-IBF and newly crowned Ring lineal world champion Junto Nakatani.
Nakatani became unified and Ring champion when he stopped former IBF titlist Ryusoke Nishioka who is now rated #3 behind WBA champion Seiji Tsutsumi and WBO titlist Yoshiki Takei. Ex WBA titleholder Takuma Inoue is rated #4 followed by two other Japanese Daigo Higa and Tenshin Nakusawa.
Above Llover in the ratings are former world champion Jason Moloney and Puerto Rico's Javier Cintron at #7 and #8.
Three Filipino fighters are set to fight for world titles this June and July and they include two former Ring Magazine pound for pound listers, Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire.
Pacquiao is set for a ring comeback to challenge American Mario Barrios for his WBC welterweight title on July 19, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada USA.
Donaire is set to return to the ring with a bout against Chilean Andres Campos in Buenos Argentina this June 16 for the interim WBA bantamweight title.
The third is Christian Araneta who is fighting Thailand's Thanomsak Simri in Japan on June 19, 2025 for the vacant IBF light flyweight title.
