Abalos, Reyes, Manalo to grace billiardfest on May 4

No less than councilor Charisse Abalos will be the guest of honor when the Sangguniang Kabataan Hagdan Bato Libis Billiards Tournament 2025 gets underway on Sunday, May 4,2025 at the Magician Billiards Elite-Shaw in Mandaluyong City.

Councilor Abalos, daughter of Senatorial candidate Benhur Abalos Jr. will deliver the inspirational remarks in the opening of the 10 ball tournament, in celebration of Sports League 2025 and is open to all bona fide residents of Hagdan Bato, Libis.

Abalos is also expected to make the ceremonial lag together with Hall of Famer and World Champion Efren "Bata" Reyes and International Billiard and Snooker Champion Marlon Manalo.

Reyes is a professional pool player, widely regarded as the greatest of all time, with over 100 international titles and the only player to win world championships in two different pool disciplines while Manalo is a professional pool player and decorated champion, with titles including the Philippine National Championship, Texas Hold 'Em Billiards Championship and multiple Southeast Asian Games gold medals.-Marlon Bernardino-
