“The Body Snatcher” Rhonvex Capuloy Snatches Jason Tinampay in Cebu, Claims WBF Strap

MANDAUE, Cebu — With a lethal combination to the head and body, relentless 130-pound slugger Rhonvex Capuloy caught, dropped and stopped Boholano journeyman Jason Tinampay on Tuesday, December 10, at the crowded and entertained ConEquip Compound in Mandaue City, Cebu.
With the fast and destructive win, the 28-year-old southpaw from Ozamiz City claims the vacant WBF Australasian Super Featherweight Title, advancing his carrier, and looking forward to more challenging missions.
The event was promoted by enthusiastic Cebuano promoter Seth Tio of Big Yellow Promotions, and supervised by WBF Executive Alvin S. Go of Manila.
In attendance, enjoying the evening of entertaining boxing were beloved Filipino former champions Donnie “Ahas” Nietes and Dodie Boy Peñalosa.
