
Atangana Claims UBO Belt, Bissutti, Willis Stop Foes, Cha Jr., Draws

PATTAYA, Thailand — Undefeated tall Franck Atangana (7-0, 2 KO’s) of France defeated tough Afghan warrior Ahmad Samir Dawrani (10-5-1, 7 KO’s) for a majority decision win to Claim the vacant UBO Continental Super Middleweight Belt in an FCC Fight Club Championship Promotion on September 14 in Pattaya, Thailand.

In the co-feature, Unbeaten Italian Bridgerweight Alessio “The Hammer” Bissutti (8-0, 7 KO’s) of Veneto, Italy, stopped his younger Thai opponent Nakhongchai Pantang to remain undefeated, getting ready for his next title fight set for October 6 at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.
Also, Filipino Featherweight Ryan Willis of La Trinidad, Benguet, scored a fast TKO win to get back into active duty after a ten year absence from ring action.

The determined, coming-forward Ryan Willis – who during the past decade worked as a successful boxing coach – overpowered former Muay Thai combatant Aphichat Sopapap. Welcome back, Ryan Willis!
Plus, former MMA fighter, Renato Cha Jr. of Taguig, Metro Manila, fought hard to a four-round draw against strong and taller Phisit Phaochanthuek of Thailand.
With the result, the slugger Renato Cha Jr., remains unbeaten in pro boxing with a record of 2-0-1, 2 KO’s.
The 11-bout event September 14 in Pattaya, Thailand, was a production of Alessio Bissutti’s FCC Fight Club Championship in association with Brico Santig’s Highland Boxing Promotions.
