
PONPITAK LOOKING FORWARD TO ANCAJAS WAR

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thai battle-tested warrior Sukpraserd Ponpitak keeps on sweating profusely in Bangkok, Thailand, ahead of his 10-round super bantamweight rumble against popular former king the “Pretty Boy” Jerwin Ancajas (34-4-3, 22 KOs).
The two experienced fighters men are set to collide hard on Sunday, September 22, at the Mandaluyong City College in Metro Manila, a show promoted by the legendary Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.
For the war, the 36-year-old Ponpitak (30-19, 20s) is scheduled to arrive in the blessed Land of the Philippines this coming Thursday, September 19, looking forward to engage the Pretty Boy in a crucial fight that could send the loser into retirement.
Ponpitak and Ancajas will clash as the co-main event for the word title rumble featuring Filipino champion Melvin Oliva Jerusalemm against unbeaten Mexican challenger Luis Castillo.
