NEWARK, NJ (July 4, 2024) – Camponovo Sports' hard-hitting lightweight slugger Miguel Madueño (31-2, 28 KOs), from Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico, is set to face the undefeated 2020 USA Olympian Keyshawn Davis (10-0, 7 KOs), from Norfolk, Virginia, in a thrilling 10-round bout. This highly anticipated fight, promoted by Top Rank, will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, and will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Madueño, known for his knockout power in both hands and relentless pressure fighting, enters the ring as the underdog against the rising star Davis. Despite the odds, Madueño is determined to prove himself and deliver a major upset.

"I know I'm the underdog going into this fight, but that's exactly the kind of challenge I thrive on," said Miguel Madueño. "Keyshawn Davis is a great fighter, but I'm ready to give him his first loss and show the everyone what I'm capable of."

Promoter Alex Camponovo is confident in Madueño's abilities and expects a tough, grueling fight that will test both fighters. He believes his fighter has what it takes to come out on top.

"This is going to be a hard-fought battle between two incredibly talented boxers," Camponovo stated. "Miguel Madueño has the power and the heart to come out on top, and I believe he will emerge victorious in this showdown."

A win against a highly touted prospect like Davis would be a significant boost for Madueño's career, positioning him for even bigger opportunities in the lightweight division. Madueño emphasized the importance of this fight.

"A victory over Keyshawn Davis would be a game-changer for my career,” concluded Madueño. “It would put me in line for major fights and show everyone that I belong with the elite lightweights in the division."

Boxing fans can expect an action-packed night at the Prudential Center, with Madueño vs. Davis being one of the highlights of the event. Be sure to tune in on ESPN to catch this exciting clash of lightweight warriors.
