Tyson Fury is not concerned about his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk not being an undisputed heavyweight title fight anymore, according to his manager Spencer Brown. Fury lost to Usyk in the first undisputed heavyweight title fight in 25 years. Fury had stated his ambition of winning the undisputed heavyweight title last held by Lennox Lewis.

Fury lost a great fight and immediately agreed to a rematch on December 21, but Usyk vacated the IBF title and it was being awarded to Daniel Dubois. That means that even if Fury avenges his only defeat and records his biggest victory, he will win only the WBA, WBO and WBC titles. Anthony Joshua will challenge Dubois on September 21 at Wembley Stadium.

Fury has held multiple heavyweight world titles, including WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO titles from 2015 to 2016, the Ring magazine title twice between 2015 and 2022, and the WBC title from 2020 to 2024. He also held the IBO title.

Usyk has held the undisputed championship in two weight classes, at cruiserweight and heavyweight, and reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from May to June 2024. He has also held the International Boxing Organization (IBO) title since 2021, and The Ring title since 2022
