Herlan Gómez, Vikash Dahiya Meet in Dubái

Dubai, U.A.E. — Rising Filipino bantamweight Herlan Sixto Gomez (on the right) of Bacolod, Negros Occidental, and tough warrior Vikash Dahiya of Calcutta, India, met for the first time at the lobby of the Le Meridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre.
The unplanned, brief encounter unfolded today ahead of their 118-pound non-title fight scheduled for this Saturday, August 26, at Le Meridien Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The two young fighters were friendly towards each other, shaking hands, displaying fine sportsmanship.
This Friday will be the weigh-in with fight time on Saturday.
Tickets for the show at Le Meridien are still available.
Will the Indian fighter prevail?
Or will it be the gwapito Filipino the one to succeed?
