Collazo Excited to Defend WBO World Title Against Filipino Garen Diagan Aug 26 in Puerto Rico

WBO 105 lbs World Champion Oscar Collazo of Puerto Rico was at the fight venue, Puerto Rico’s Coliseo Roberto Clemente, promoting his coming thrilling boxing world title showdown against tough and skilled Pinoy challenger “Hellboy” Garen Diagan.

Collazo talked to boxing fans in attendance, sharing details about the fight, and inviting them to come to the world-class event on August 26 at the famous Roberto Clemente Coliseum, the most iconic, important and historic venue for boxing in the beautiful Island of Enchantment, Puerto Rico.

Oscar Collazo told fans that he feels "excited and happy" for having the opportunity of making his first defense against the talented and strong Filipino challenger Garen "Hellboy" Diagan.

“I feel very happy and grateful for this.

“Grateful for the support of my promoter Miguel Cotto Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions, as well as DAZN, for giving me the opportunity to fight here at my home in front of all my Boricua people.

"It fills me with pride to battle for you here in Puerto Rico.

"I feel ready and prepared for this challenge against the Filipino Garen Diagan.

"We have never lowered the intensity of our training, and we know that we will put up a great fight and defend our title," said the 26-year-old Oscar 'El Pupilo’ Collazo, who lives in the Town of Villalba in Central-South Puerto Rico.

The southpaw Collazo will face the world-ranked "Hellboy" Garen Diagan, a talented, lion-heart lefty Pinoy warrior who can boast not only a very good record, but also the good experience fighting outside of his beloved native Pinoyland.

Yes, Garen Diagan, 27, does not worry about fighting in the country of his opponent, the world champ Collazo, as he has already battled behind enemy lines in South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.

That’s why, this boxing show between two talented, fast, and skilled southpaws promises to ignite fireworks! becoming a great evening of boxing.
