Prograis Wants Haney; Hearn Says Why Not!

After a disappointing performance last week against Puerto Rican Danielito Zorrilla, WBC 140 World Champ "Rougarou" Regis Prograis (29-1, 24 KO's, on the right), still wants so bad to provide his first pro defeat to 24-year-old undisputed 135 king Devin "The Dream" Haney (30-0, 15 KO's).

Would you like to see "Haney vs Prograis" next?

Me, yes, I feel it would be an excellent fight!

Importantly, the Briton star promoter Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, has said on social media that he would like to make Devin Haney an offer for a world title battle against Regis Prograis for later this year.

If Eddie Hearn is interested in that fight, for sure he would pursue it, and that sounds great. A natural fight. Plus availability.

Because Regis Prograis has just defended his belt last week (although in a lack-luster fight), while Devin Haney has edged Loma last month (although I think Loma won); and it's not sure if Haney and Loma would fight again any time soon, probably not.

So, if "Haney vs Prograis" happens, yeah, 100% I would eagerly watch it, wondering who would win, and how.

However, a number of fans have lost some degree of confidence on the chances of the "Rougarou" (Werewolf) Prograis against the talented and much younger Devin Haney.

And finally, could the 34-year-old "Rougarou" Regis Prograis - now promoted by Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing - still thrill fans with speed, skills and firepower at 140 as he used to do at 130... or not?
