Yes, exciting! Two promising, young, world-ranked flyweight fighters face each other in a crucial and thrilling battle.

It’s all set for this Saturday, May 13, at the plush and fun Okada Manila Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, Parañaque, Metro Manila.

21-year-old Japanese IBF #14 花田歩夢 Ayumu "Chingón" Hanada (10-1-1, 8 KO;s) of Amagasaki, Hyōgo Prefecture, battles brave 24-year-old Filipino former world-title challenger, IBF #15 "El Latigo" Vince Paras (18-2-1, 15 KOs) of Gensan.

The winner for the exciting matchup advances his career, as well as his world ranking in the flyweight division where the reigning king is the slick, undefeated Briton IBF world champion Sunny “Showtime” Edwards (19-0, 4 KO’s) of Croydon, London.

The popular Edwards, 27, who is promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, is making his 4th world title defense headlining a main event against unbeaten challenger Andres Campos (15-0, 4 KO’s) of Chile on June 10 at London’s famed Wembley Arena live on DAZN.

Should Sunny “Showtime” Edwards be successful, he and his Matchroom promoter would be looking for the next challenger for Edwards’s next defense, likely by the end of the year.

That one challenger for Edwards to defend against with could very well be the winner of “Chingón” Hanada vs “El Látigo” Paras.

Of course, in boxing we never know, but Saturday’s winner would exponentially increases his chances of being considered for a word title battle.

The loser could say a sad “adios” to his world ranking, unless the important 8-rounder ends up in a draw.

So, who do you think the big WINNER will be?

Will it be the visiting “Chingón” Hanada of Hyōgo, Japan? 🇯🇵

Or will it be the more-experienced “Látigo” Vince Paras of Gensan, Philippines? 🇵🇭

The exciting show May 13 at Okada Manila is a promotion of Veteran Filipino promoter Johnny Elorde and Japanese former world champion Masayuki Ito.

May the Best Man Win!!!
