"The Fight Doc" JV Tuazon Scores Hard-Fought Win in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Filipino-American “The Fighting Doc” JV Tuazon (4-4-2, 2 KO's) of New Jersey by way of Manila, Philippines, scored a close, hard-fought win by points over experienced Indonesian veteran Jack Amisa on April 27 at the plush SpacePlus Night Club in Bangkok, Thailand.
Two times during the tough combat, Tuazon absorbed heavy bombardment, but was able to hang in there with heart and determination.
The non-title 6-rounder battle in the featherweight division was staged by promoters Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotions.
