BANGKOK, Thailand. — Unbeaten world-ranked Filipino light flyweight "The Striker" John Michael Zulueta (14-0-3, 7 KO's, on the right), currently in the WBA and IBF world rankings, and tough, experienced Silem Serang of Depok, Indonesia, made weight and faced off ahead of their crucial 10-round clash April 21 at the luxurious Spaceplus Night Club in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the rumble, Zulueta, a native of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, will attempt a successful 2nd defense of his regional ABF (Asian Boxing Federation) 108 lbs title.
A win will get the world-ranked “Striker" Zulueta closer to his dream of a shot at the 105 or 108 pound world title. A defeat would be disastrous for his career. What will happen?
The title battle is a Highland Boxing Promotion show presented by Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig.
Fans outside of Thailand may watch the fight from the promoter’s Facebook page.
In the same hot show will see action Ador Torres of Sorsohon and Manileño Filipino-American JV Tuazon.
Best of Luck to all the Pinoy warriors!! 🇵🇭🇮🇩🇹🇭🇺🇸 👍🥊
