Unbeaten Filipino super flyweight "Hurricane" Jade Bornea (18-0, 12 KO's), born in Arakan, Cotabato del Norte, will battle for the world title.

Yes indeed. Jade Bornea, 27, will wage the MOST IMPORTANT fight of his life when he gets in the ring to trade blows against Argentina IBF Super Fly World Champion Fernando "Puma" Martinez, 31, a rumble ordered by the IBF, the world sanctioning body headquartered in New Jersey, U.S.A.

It's the golden chance for The Philippines to gain another world championship in boxing, following the exciting fast and furious win of Melvin Jerusalem (20-2, 12 KO's) last month in Japan.

Could Jade Bornea storm the ring in a similar fashion to bring home the coveted red and golden world title strap?

Incidentally, Fernando "El Puma" Martinez is the very same unbeaten fighter from the Land of Leo Messi, who 2 times decidedly defeated the Filipino "Pretty Boy" Jerwin Ancajas (33-3-2. 22 KO's), last year.

The popular 31-year-old Davaeño long-time titlist was really outclassed and bested by "El Puma." But... will the unbeaten, younger Jade Bornea stand a better chance?

It has been speculated by fans in social media that for those fights against Martinez, the beloved "Pretty Boy" Ancajas might have had difficulties in making the limited of the division, 115 lbs, which could have had affected his performance last February in Las Vegas and then the same thing again in October in Carson.

Only Jerwin and his coach could really know the weight situation, and, if Jerwin would go back to super fly, or venture back in boxing as a bantam.

Thankfully, "Hurricane" Jade does not seem to have any issues at all getting into the 115 to Battle the Argentinian. That is great news for fans.

Then, when and where?

The "Puma" Martinez vs "Hurricane" Bornea 12-rounder world title action will unfold within 90 days in the U.S.A.

It will be promoted by TGB Promotions, the prolific boxing outfit headed by promoter Tom G. Brown.

Regarding purses for the boxers, TGB - who won the right to stage the rumble - will pay $16,250 to the IBF world belt-holder managed by popular Argentina action fighter Marcos "El Chino" Maidana.

Then, an $8,750 dollars purse will be for the Pinoy challenger handled by Gensan's Sanman Promotions.

Important details still need to be worked out, including the exact date, venue in the U,S,, etc, but the letter is in the mail!

AND THEN, at the end... on fight night, will the winner be El Puma Argentino... or The Filipino Hurricane?? what do you think?????

May the Best Man Win!!!
