BANGKOK, Thailand -- Thailand's Kwanchai Pliankhunthod (5-7, 5 KO's), battles less-experienced rookie bantamweight Laldinsanga (2-0, 2 KO's) of India when the two gladiators battle in a supporting bout for the exciting TL Fighter Promotion Show tomorrow, February 4, at SpacePlus Bangkok Night Club live on Workpoint Channel 23 and YouTube.
Laldinsanga, known in his hometown as "Dinsang" hails from the "Bridge of Rock" Town of Lunglei in the south-central part of the Mizoram State in northeastern India.
The non-title 6-rounder clash in the bantamweight division is Laldinsanga's first rumble outside of Aizawal. How will the rookie do?
Will the young 19-year-old "Bridge of Rock" warrior rise to the occasion to ravage the hometown fighter?
Or will the local, more ring savvy Kwanchai - the boxer of the promoter - will teach this visiting Indian fighter a good lesson in boxing?
For their clash, the Kwanchai weighed 117.4 pounds, while "Dinsang" came-in over the scale at 117.6.
In the show's main event, world-ranked WBA Asia champion Phoobadin Yoohanngoh (15-0, 9 KO's) of Thailand weighed-in at 63.50 kilos (140 lbs), while his India challenger Vanlalawmpuia (6-1-1, 4 KO's). came-in at 63.23 Kgs (139.4 pounds), for their battle for the WBA Asia Super Lightweight Strap.
Also in the show, Thailand's bantamweight Yuttapong Tongdee (9-0, 5 KO's), will defend his WBA Asia Bantamweight Strap from the attacks of younger India warrior F. Zoramchhana (4-2, 0 KO's).
