BANGKOK, Thailand -- Heavy-handed Korean 154-pounder Tae Kyun Kim (5-1-1, 5 KO's) is already in the "Land of Smiles," ready for his coming battle against more-experienced, heavily-tattooed Thai Vachayan Khamon (a.k.a. Suor Carryboy) of Udon Rathasima for a six-chapter non-title rumble in the Super Welterweight division.

The action clash is scheduled to unfold as part of the Highland Boxing Promotions "Fight of the Future" Show this coming Wednesday, September 28, at the fancy SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

Kim, a skilled, unpredictable hard-punching southpaw from Seoul, aims at his 6th pro victory since becoming pro seven years ago in Australia.

An unexpected set back in 2016 triggered a hiatus in Kim's career. But the confident, strong-willed 5′10″ fighter from the country of boxing legend Soo Hwan Hong has successfully bounced back with three TKO wins in Bangkok, plus a draw in Pakistan.

"Not enough," says Kim. "I want more action, more battle time."

On Wednesday, he will have just that against the coming-forward Khamon as Kim continues his pro boxing career with passion, sweat, and commitment to the noble sport of boxing.

Billed as "Fight of the Future, the "Tae Kyun Kim vs Vachayan Khamon" rumble September 28 at the starry SpacePlus Night Club is another production of award-winning Filipino promoter Brico Santig of the Highland Boxing Team in association with veteran Thai man of boxing Supanat Chanram and boxing-loving Night Club entrepreneur Tony Chen.
