BANGKOK, Thailand — In a keep-busy, non-title tune-up fight, Thai heavy-puncher WBC Asia Flyweight Champion Thananchai Charunphak (13-1, 10 KO’s) dropped two times rookie Filipino Brandon Alejandro (1-2, 1 KO) en-route to a round two TKO win Saturday, August 27, at The Bazaar Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Thananchai made the damage on Alejandro by directing his attack on the Filipino’s mid-section. It worked.

The above photo shows the moment in which the 22-year-old Thai Thananchai Charunphak is declared winner over Brandon Alejandro, the young Filipino, born in the Bayan ng Pagblao in Quezon Province, who has lived and studied in Thailand for over 10-years

The brave, although much-less-experienced Alejandro, 22, was no match for the heavy-handed Thai champ Thananchai, whose next title defence will be against the more difficult Filipino Jenny Boy Boca (14-8, 12 KO’s) of the beautiful Island is Caminguín.

The coming “Thananchai vs Boca” 10-chapter rumble for the WBC Asia Flyweight Strap is set to unfold on Saturday, September 24, at The Bazaar Hotel here in Bangkok, Thailand.

Will Jenny boy Boca be able to rock and defeat Thananchai to get revenge for Alejandro’s tough defeat?

The Filipino boxing portal Philboxing.com plans to report to its readers on whatever transpired in the coming Thananchai vs Boca clash.

The fights are productions of Thai boxing outfit NKL Promotions (promoter of Thananchai),, live in Thailand in Thairath TV Channel 32.
