BANGKOK, Thailand — In a competitive 10 rounds title clash, WBC World #3 Super Bantamweight and WBC Asian Champion 🇹🇭 Thattana “Chainoi” Luangphon (18-0-1, 13 KO’s) decisioned aggressive Filipino challenger Kevin Aseniero (10-4-1, 5 KO’s), to retain his WBC Asian 122-Lbs strap Saturday afternoon, August 27, at The Bazaar Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand,

The world-ranked “Chainoi” made good use of his boxing skills landing combinations on the strong Pinoy born in the beautiful City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan Fe Oro.

Aseniero did much better during the second half of the war, having the unbeaten “Chainoi” in some trouble during the heated action of round 8, but failing to capitalise.

The Filipino warrior was assisted in his corner by coach “Rock Star” Marvin Alegria of Sampaloc, Metro Manila, and veteran coach former world champ Joemarie Gamboa of Mandaue City, Cebu.

There where no cuts nor knockdowns in the entertaining showdown produced by NKL Promotions, live on Thailand’s Thairath TV Channel 32.
