BANGKOK, Thailand — Undefeated WBA ASIA champion Nattapong Jankaew of Thailand (Left) and heavy-hitter Pinoy challenger Adrian Lerasan (11-4, 4 KO's), born in Antipolo, Rizal Province, face off after successfully making 115 lbs (52.16 kilos) ahead of their hot ten-chapter war for the WBA ASIA super flyweight title set for Friday, August 19, here in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 23-year-old power-puncher Adrian Lerasan has brilliantly knocked out all of his prior three tough Thai opponents in a row, a feat no other Filipino boxer has ever done.
Will the tough Adrian be able to stop the world-ranked Nattapong Jankaew (10-0, 6 KO’s) as well?
Adrian Lerasan is assisted in Thailand by veteran Filipino coach former world champion Joemarie Gamboa of Mandaue City, Cebu, and coach former fighter Richard Garcia of Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
Supervising the fight for WBA ASIA is Won Kim from The Republic of Korea (ROK), chairman of WBA Asia.
